Risk Assessment

Risk Assessment for A Suspense Productions:

Risk assessments are needed to ensure the safety of the filming crew at all times. If we do not perform risk assessments then we are leaving room for error and even danger. People must be aware of the things that could go wrong so that we have time to correct it before production begins.

Katie's House Location (House Bathroom)

Hazards:
No smashing of items. Making sure bathroom is not over crowded
Risk Assessment:
low

Do not let the electrical goods get damaged. Make sure all wires and electrical equipment are kept far away from any water substances or wet places in the bathroom otherwise this will have bad consequences which could mean imperative equipment could stop working, which will need to be replaced at a big expense. May result in tripping or electric shocks.
High

To reduce damage to cameras make sure they are put back into their cases whenever not in use, also with the lense cases placed back onto the lense.
Moderate

Make sure cameras are fully charged to prevent the risk of the battery dying and not being able to film all day.

Moderate

Make sure we let the camera roll for at least 5 seconds when trying to record so that the risk of jumpy cuts during editing is not a problem.

Moderate

No use of electrical products in the bathroom for example styling tools or chargers as water may get into the plugs which increases the chances of electric shocks.
High

Public Toilet Locaion:

Hazards
Make sure people are aware that we are filming inside the toilets to reduce the risk of interruptions during camera operation.
Risk Assessment:
Low

Make people aware of any counterfeit weapons we are using during filming to reduce public disruptions and even prevent wasting police time we can do sure by writing a letter of permission to the police.
High

We must clean up any fake blood or mess that we make during filming in both toilets, out of respect. Someone may slip and fall.
Moderate

Day light hours filming in public would safer then filming in the evening when it is dark and isolated around Dartford area.

Low

The public toilets in Dartford are known to be grim and dirty so washing hands if people have touched handles or chains would be preferred to reduce the risk of spreading any germs on the camera which could spread to the next person using it.

Low
The aim of carrying out this risk assessments is to reduce the risk of things going wrong so that filming may be completed smoothly and efficiently.
