By the end of this week, we need to accomplish the following:
- Garage band: soundtrack
- Title 'Undercover' animate to emerge out of gun.
- Ident animation.
- Radio recording to go over title sequence - Max.
- To finish our individual rough cut edits by 5 o'clock on Friday 10th February.
- To think about our title sequence and put our thoughts into action.
- To finish taking stills for our title sequence montage; hospital corridor, bandages, gun, suit, hospital tag, mirror, post 16 school photos.
- To update our blog in order to ensure all group commentary's are on there, plus we need to upload our recce photographs.
We plan to reshoot some of our shots in which did not work or they broke continuity. We will do this on the 17th of February. Here are the shots we will be re-shooting:
Shot 13- Mirror breaks (CU).
Shot 15- Water dripping in bucket (CU).
Shot 27- Put clothes in plastic bag (LS).

ReplyDeleteAs the video has not been uploaded by the rough cut deadline for assessment I am unable to give you directed feedback or a grade beyond L1 for the video as it is incomplete.
However micro aspects you have done well:
Some well framed shots and a variety of angles - excellent final shot (L4)
Steady and smooth movements (L4)
Good use of mise-en-scene with some attention to detail (L3)
location/costume
Narrative makes some sense (L3)
Confident performance
Clearly identifies the genre (L3)
Improvements
Title sequence missing (L1) - reshoot?
No soundtrack or foley (L1)
Reshoot mirror shot and hair shots to help it make sense
Close ups on the gun - re-shoot?
Colour correction is a subtle art - don't make skin too green, try using blue and match the bathroom colour temp
Balance the lighting levels
Hit the final deadline (Fri 2nd March 5pm)
